Pricing for Flight Instruction
At my flight school, I aim to provide transparent and fair pricing for all my instructional services. Here’s a breakdown of my rates:
Instruction Rates
- Ground and Flight Instruction: $50 per hour
This rate applies to all ground and flight instruction sessions, allowing you to receive high-quality training tailored to your needs. The rate is charged for all scheduled time, where the instructor is instructing. What are some examples of time that is charged for?
- Instructor is briefing or training the student on the ground before the flight
- Instructor is in the airplane with the student
- Instructor is giving a post-flight debrief
- Instructor is teaching a ground lesson or providing answers to student questions
Travel Costs
If travel to a specific training location is necessary, the costs will include:
- Actual Travel Expenses: This covers any transportation costs incurred while traveling to your chosen training site.
- Travel Time Billing: An amount will be agreed on ahead of time based on the amount of travel time required.
Before any travel is scheduled, we will discuss and agree on all associated travel costs to ensure clarity and avoid surprises.
